This service is passionate about supporting people in the areas of sensory processing, Interoception and emotional regulation, energy conservation/management (spoon theory) and their impact on participation in daily life.
Empowering participation in all areas of life for children over 9 years of age, teens and adults. OT’s work in all different settings assisting people to participate in any occupation that is meaningful to them. An occupation can be defined as anything you need to do, want to do or are expected to do in your life.

Authentically Me Occupational Therapy adheres to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. This is currently 193.99 per hour.
Private clients are billed at the same rate as NDIS.
Non Face to Face Work: This is typically at request and will receive client consent before completing. Examples: Writing reports or letters of recommendations, Providing clinical recommendations or assistance via phone to teachers or other allied health professionals, Functional Capacity Assessments, Creating individualised therapy resources or home plans.
Travel Time
Charging less than the standard cost under NDIS Priceline Arrangements and Guidelines. Travel is charged at the same rate of $193.99 per hour, up to a maximum of 30min, unless you are the very last client of the day ( max 1 hour total). This is in line with the guidelines and the Modified Monash Model that the NDIS uses to set costs. Travel Costs will be advised and discussed before sessions. All home sessions will be organised to support the minimisation of travel costs where possible.

Authentically Me Occupational Therapy adheres to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. If you need to cancel an appointment, please allow us a minimum of 2 business days (48 hours) before the appointment. If the appointment is cancelled with less than 2 days notice, the full session cost will be charged.
Due to the scheduling challenges in the disability sector, it is typically not feasible to fill cancelled appointments at short notice. However, if we are able to schedule other work in your time slot, the fee will be waived. This policy ensures the effective management of our schedule, the viability of our service, and the provision of high-quality services to all our clients.

Locations are determined by intest and reducing travel costs for all clients. This business is run out of the 4017 postcode (Sandgate, Deagon, Bracken Ridge, Shorncliffe). Currently providing services to North Brisbane and the Moreton Bay Area. For example, Redcliffe, Brendale, Taigum, Petrie, North Lakes. Please reach out for any clarification. Gathering interest in south side Brisbane locations.

This services does see people with co-occurring conditions. This service provides OT to children and young adults with psychosocial disabilities on a case by case basis. This service does not provide crisis support. Please note that OT does not assist people for treatment of a primary diagnosis of acute psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders and OCD.
This service explores a person’s participation in meaningful activities using evidence based occupational therapy models.
